Happy Friday CAN supporters. It's been another busy week in the office with event planning, report writing, and general fundraising activity. Watch this space for the exciting events we have planned for 2025 - we're doing it bigger and better this year! ❤️

It's busy in our Kathmandu office this week as the team pack hygiene kits to distribute at 4 schools. The kits include toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, towels and combs. These hygiene kits promote better sanitation and education amongst the students. Keep up the good work! 🙏

Gap Basic School has a Kitchen Garden which has been supported by CAN for the past 5 years. We have provided polytunnels, seeds and expert advice from our JTA Sarmila. She snapped this beautiful picture at the weekend during a training visit ❤️

It's been snowy for a few days in Tsum Valley and the scenery is certainly very beautiful, if a little chilly! Weather conditions provide residents with many challenges throughout the year and these communities have learnt to adapt. 🙏

Our JTA Sarmila has been busy at Bihi this week. Sarmila supports these remote communities as they increase their self sufficiency by offering training and distributing seeds. Read more here bit.ly/3xDqCON

One of our Health Post workers at Chumling fell seriously ill a few days ago and had to be airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment. We wish her a speedy recovery and send our very best wishes. 🙏

At the weekend, our colleagues in the CAN Nepal office celebrated their 25th anniversary of registration. Staff gathered to mark the occasion and Murari managed to capture these snaps. Thank you to all our Nepalese colleagues and namaste 🙏❤️
