Taking the day off from trading today to re-assess my overall approach and goals. With the skillset gained from trenching.... I believe there is a real opportunity to use the edge that we all have not only to have success in the trenches, but use that ability to be able to frontrun any big swing in all markets. Could this be the end goal of the journey? Not to just be able to trade shitters, but use the geopolitcal and global news tracking we are absorbed in daily to make REAL money? The more that I think about this - the more valid it seems in my head. Obviously there will be risk, a knowledge gap, and lots of learning. But I truly believe this is the way 'out' of the trenches. I will never stop trenching, but the continuous missed opportunites to make generational wealth by frontrunning the entire news cycle is something to be aware of. No matter what, There is ALWAYS money to be made. We must tap into every method to become the true onchain quant. I will see you all at 5AM.
