Run this math on your own brand: Take your number of customers from last year. Multiply by your average order value. Now multiply that by 0.01. Scoring in at 5/5 so far, here's a few of the many testimonials we received: - Honestly, the best conference I've been to. The whole event delivered value from start to finish. Talks were direct, focused, and immediately actionable, and the overall flow and vibe made it the perfect environment for learning. - As a first-time ecommerce event attendee, I had a great experience at Commerce Roundtable. The venue and food were both excellent, but the biggest highlight was the networking. It was incredibly valuable to connect with other founders and operators in a setting that felt both high-quality and approachable. I left with new relationships, useful ideas, and a strong desire to come back again. - Awesome event! Tons of value in person that you can’t get on a screen - I love Commerce Roundtable. The quality of insights and connections is unmatched by any other event in our industry. I've been to Shop Talks, GROW, Manifests and e-tails and Expo Wests. I learned more in two days of coming to this event and met more viable contacts than I have at any of these other events that I spent five to 10x to attend, really just such a valuable conference. I really think my brand is going to benefit because of it. Recap of the big themes & learnings from @CommerceRound : 1. We're all freaked out about AI, but we probably shouldn't be AI is analogous to any other tech that has trended in this space: it's not a plug and play business solution, and you get the best results applying it strategically @deancbrennan gave one of my favorite talks about using AI as a real time, data-informed leadership coach. AI amplifies everything you do. If you can't prioritize, or if you consistently choose the wrong priorities, it will only help you fail faster. 2. TikTok Shop & organic short form (was this event secretly sponsored by @NotZainAgain ?) We got the download on @Frostbuddy_ 's insane growth on the platform, which was enabled by the co-founder grinding at TikTok organic for close to a year, figuring out how to make the product go viral. We also got an amazing deep dive from @theisaacmed about what it takes to grow a Youtube channel to a million views from scratch. The bar for winning attention has never been higher. Most brands still write off organic, but cracking organic is also the key to cracking paid. Being good at this is actually "alpha" right now, because most folks are simply too scared to get on camera and be cringe. 3. Retention & CRO Maturing There were two great talks in the retention and CRO space that acknowledged something I've been saying for years: Maxing out revenue per session (CRO) or campaign conversion rate (email) often has the downstream result of nuking customer LTV and diluting overall customer quality. I'm grateful that the industry is starting to move beyond chasing dumb numbers, even though some of you reading this are not. Side note–it was so cool to meet so many of you in person. It expanded my thinking and inspired me to be more ambitious, especially with my AI learning/ experiments. Thanks again to @yojimmykim and @iamshackelford for organizing such an amazing event and inviting me to speak.

I didn't know I was speaking @CommerceRound until I was tagged in a post with other speakers. And these are people that I've looked up to and admired since the first years I was in ecom. So when I heard via post the news and confirmed with @iamshackelford, I felt floored, excited, nervous, and grateful for the opportunity all at once. I was given a platform that people know and trust and gave it my all debating live on stage. With what I'd say my mentor & friend @bryandstarck hosting and others that I've looked up to for years gassing me up pre & post talk (@_phoenixha @SarahLevinger @noahwhaynes @ecomchasedimond), overfilled with joy is an understatement. Me waiting for @SarahLevinger to drop the sauce from her keynote here from @CommerceRound What I took away were prime examples from Vacation, Liquid Death, and Fish Wives who won on not only brand but also creating a culture that was undeniable to recognize as a consumer. And also the importance of trust created from value and brand perception. The type that obviously looks and feels like they GET you. And whatever place you do feel that way, you're inclined to stay.

I’ve spent the last two years building alone, struggling to get in the right rooms, and learn from killer operators. @CommerceRound is that room. Thank you to everyone who put on the event. Here are my biggest takeaways: 1. Dtc is fun 2. Meta is getting a lot harder for some people and a lot easier for others 3. Ai is a multiplier, but can also be an equalizer. 4.
