20 years ago vs Franklin County, we honored the Tigers of the 1940s. The 1940s saw the Commerce Football program restarted after a 11 year hiatus due to the effects of the Great Depression. They were recognized on the field before the Tigers defeated the Lions 14-7

As the regular season has come to a close, I want to thank the Commerce community, faculty and coaching staff for allowing me to once again film another season of Tiger Football. I have been filming and doing graphic design for the tigers for 17 years now, and I am so honored to be able to capture the hard work of these incredible young athletes every Friday. No matter how many wins or losses show on the record, I never take for granted the privilege of being able to have even a very small part in capturing tiger football history and preserving it for the players and the fans alike. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for allowing me to do this for another year. Congratulations to our Commerce Tigers and especially our seniors for a huge win tonight, and GO TIGERS!
