𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬...🏆 The CDFund Discovery Award 2026 was presented on May 19, 2026, during Canaccord’s Global Metals & Mining Conference in Las Vegas. Five companies with significant discoveries were nominated, including @AbraSilver, @FoundersMetals, @SitkaGoldCorp, and @TuracoGold, but @ngex_minerals was named the winner for its massive Lunahuasi discovery. 🎆 🎆🎆 The Lunahuasi discovery was made in 2023 in Argentina’s San Juan province, within the renowned Vicuña District. It's rich in copper, gold, and silver, with exceptional grades of up to 40% copper and 24 g/t gold. The deposit is large, remains open in all directions, and continues to show strong growth potential through ongoing exploration. Following the discovery, the company’s share price surged 1,000%, while its market capitalization grew from C$40 million to C$12 billion. Our fund captured a significant part of this value creation. This year’s winner is therefore an outstanding example of our Discovery Investing strategy. 𝐂𝐃𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 #𝟓: 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 @TuracoGold rapidly expanded the Afema project in Côte d’Ivoire from zero to 4.65Moz of gold resources after acquiring it in 2024. The company has identified seven separate targets along the prolific Ghana shear zone, with all deposits remaining open. Current drilling of 100,000m is expected to push resources beyond 5Moz. Supported by an experienced management team and a mining-friendly jurisdiction, Turaco is increasingly viewed as a potential takeover candidate for major regional gold producers.

𝐂𝐃𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 #𝟒: 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐤𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 @SitkaGoldCorp unlocked the potential of its RC Gold Project in Yukon after identifying thick and continuous mineralization at the Rhosgobel target. The discovery helped define 2.25Moz of gold and improved access to the broader 5Moz resource base. Unlike many Yukon peers, RC Gold benefits from road access and favorable terrain near Dawson City. Following a strong share price performance over the past two years, Sitka still appears undervalued at a market capitalization of around C$400m given its scale and exploration upside.

𝐂𝐃𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 #𝟑: 𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐱 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐗) @ngex_minerals made the exceptional Lunahuasi copper-gold-silver discovery in Argentina’s Vicuña District in 2023. The project combines very high grades, large scale, and mineralization that remains open in all directions. Drilling returned spectacular intercepts of up to 40% copper and 24 g/t gold, with mineralized intervals exceeding 1km. Backed by the Lundin family, Lunahuasi is emerging as one of the world’s most exciting copper-gold discoveries. Since the discovery, NGEx’s market capitalization has increased from C$40m to roughly C$6b.

𝐂𝐃𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 #𝟐: 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐬 (𝐅𝐃𝐑) @FoundersMetals continues to expand the Antino Gold discovery in Suriname’s prolific Guiana Shield. Multiple discoveries, including Maria Geralda and Antino North, delivered strong drill results such as 22.5m at 11.88 g/t gold and 3.6m at 17.22 g/t gold. Strategic investments by B2Gold and Gold Fields validate the project’s potential scale. Although no resource estimate has yet been published, Antino is increasingly viewed as a potential world-class gold district and a likely future M&A target amid growing industry interest in the Guiana region.

𝐂𝐃𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 | 𝐍𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞 #𝟏: 𝐀𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐩. @AbraSilver transformed the Diablillos project in Argentina into a world-class 454Moz silver-equivalent deposit through 170,000m of drilling and roughly C$50m in exploration spending. The project now includes the Occulto, JAC, and Cerro Viejo discoveries. A preliminary study outlined strong economics, with annual production of 13.4Moz Ag eq over 14 years and an estimated NPV of up to C$7b at spot prices. Following environmental approval, production could begin by 2029. AbraSilver’s market value has risen from under C$10m in 2018 to close to C$3b today.
