It’s been a full year since I started this account. Got the idea after being inspired by the absolute legend @IfindRetards, so I thought I’d do a UK version. Never in a million years did I think it’d take off like it has. Big thanks to Retard Finder for being a top bloke and letting me share this space with him. Honestly, I can’t thank you lot enough the follows, the likes, the reposts, the endless wanker suggestions and the tags in comments. It’s been a right laugh from start to finish and it’s people like you that make it all worthwhile. Like most on here I get plenty of shit thrown my way. Even though I’m a British expat, even though I speak in spaces, even though proper patriots like @HoodedClaw1974 and @KevinTheRanter have met me in the flesh—blokes who are out on the streets day in, day out fighting for this country! Some still reckon I’m a foreign bot or a fake account. But do you know what? I couldn’t give a toss, Wankers are universal. I know exactly who I am. I know what I stand for. I’m a British patriot who cares deeply about this country and hates what state it’s been allowed to fall into. We all have our good days and bad days on this platform. Sometimes it feels like we’re pissing in the wind, fighting a losing battle. But we’ve got to keep at it for what we believe in. We have spent £180m on plans for a tunnel under Stonehenge. The project is now scrapped. You can be for a tunnel & think spending is a good idea (even if you think the cost of planning is silly). You can be against a tunnel & think spending is a bad idea. But *nobody* can be for spending on this scale with zero result. And yet that is a peculiarly British outcome. Nobody will be reprimanded. Nobody will see their career affected. But that’s £180m of taxpayer money just wazzed up the wall. Totally without repercussions. Multiply this by airport expansions & train route plans and Thames crossings and power stations and other examples you can think of yourself, and… soon you’re talking serious money.

@364690 I live in a small terraced cottage, as do my immediate neighbours, most of the residents of nearby villages &, indeed, most people in South Wiltshire. 500 ltrs of oil in January cost £285. Latest quote is over £700. You haven't a clue & make yourself look callous & uninformed.

Just lower national insurance rates and threshold, lower minimum wage rates and get rid of the crazy apeshit bonkers latest Employees rights bill amendments and things will repair themselves. £3k is nothing, it costs at least £20k to start someone from the bottom and not every small business can afford that. In fact, very few can. If Rachel from accounts had run more than a bath, she'd understand that. But none of them have. 🤦

Except that no one seems to realise that 15% of a million pound income is more than a 15% of £10k or £100k. There'd be a lot more income for the government if they simplified everything, then no one would try to to dodge it. IMO, no tax until £20k and then a flat rate of 20% of any income after that, regardless of amount.... Or is that too simplistic?

IDEA How about we set a legal, simplified tax rate. 15% for everyone on all their income. No personal allowance. Just a flat rate of 15%. Then… The government can only spend that much. No more.
