Jeremie Frimpong lost 8 out of 10 duels today, failed to complete either of his dribbles, didn't create a single chance and had less touches of the ball than Freddie Woodman. He has use as a squad player, but he cannot be an attacking option next season, simple as.

Has he just actually sad "does the ball ossilate itself" 😂 listen, we can all see it's handball from that angle, VAR didn't have that angle or they would have called handball, but I don't want to see VAR getting involved here. It's not clear enough without getting the 63rd angle and slowing it right down.

This stinks of an overspend on an English player. Elliot Anderson would cost arguably the same or less and is twice the player AND can play as #6 unlike Wharton.

@ctfallows Same issues Jones has had, and Macalister this season, and Wirtz. They lack physicality. Liverpool lack a real physical ball winner in the middle of the park.

@Common_SensePod Liverpool needs Anderson’s profile more than Wharton, because of his physicality and bite. Liverpool’s have technical players, but the Prem is physical, so they get bullied. Wharton helps passing from central/deep areas which is an issue since Trent, but doesn’t help physicality.
