Deputy Minister, @MondliGungubel_ delivered a keynote address at the 27th Ordinary Session of the @atu_uat Administrative Council, where African leaders are shaping the future of connectivity, innovation and digital transformation across the continent.

South Africa remains committed to working with African partners to ensure that the benefits of the digital economy reach all communities and help shape a competitive Africa in the global digital landscape.

Discussions at the session focus on connectivity, digital infrastructure, innovation, policy development and building resilient digital ecosystems that support economic growth across the continent.

The Deputy Minister reaffirmed South Africa’s commitment to an inclusive, connected and digitally empowered Africa.

This marks @TelkomZA’s fourth consecutive ICT Lab handover since 2023, aligned with the International Telecommunication Union’s World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. The 2026 theme: “Digital Lifelines: Strengthening Resilience in a Connected World.”
