President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of Pakistan. The leaders discussed the Türkiye-Pakistan bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments. President Erdoğan said that they will continue to take step aimed at advancing the Türkiye-Pakistan relations in every area. Stressing that Türkiye and Pakistan, together with brotherly countries, endeavor to end the conflicts in the region and establish peace and stability, President Erdoğan noted that the mediation efforts are valuable, voicing their hope for the negotiations to yield positive results. President Erdoğan also wished Eid al-Adha Mubarak to Prime Minister Sharif and the brotherly Pakistani people.

Noting that we are welcoming the Eid with a heavy heart due to the conflicts in our region, President Erdoğan expressed his belief that the Iranian people will overcome these difficult times and achieve well-being. Stating that Türkiye has been working with the brotherly countries for the establishment of peace and stability, President Erdoğan stressed that we will continue to provide every kind of support to make sure the negotiations yield a favorable outcome. President Erdoğan also wished Eid al-Adha Mubarak to the Iranian President.

Noting that a flare-up of the war in our region would benefit no one, President Erdoğan stressed the importance of supporting diplomatic steps, and stated that Türkiye has been making efforts with the brotherly countries in our region for lasting peace. Noting that Türkiye has been endeavoring for the establishment of peace and stability in Palestinian territories, as well, President Erdoğan said that Türkiye will continue to provide every kind of support to defend the rights of the Palestinian people on all platforms. President Erdoğan also wished Eid al-Adha Mubarak to the Sultan of Oman.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a teleconference with President Donald J. Trump of the United States, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and U.S. Cabinet members. During the call, which addressed the developments in Iran and the Middle East, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye always favors the resolution of problems through dialogue and diplomacy, that we welcome the diplomatic process with Iran reaching the level mentioned by U.S. President Trump, and that an agreement to secure free passage through the Strait of Hormuz would support stability in the region, providing a relief to global economy. President Erdoğan thanked the countries that contribute to the negotiations. Stressing that Türkiye stands ready to provide every kind of support during the implementation phase of a potential agreement with Iran, President Erdoğan highlighted Türkiye’s efforts aimed at making peace prevail across the region, and expressed his belief that appropriate solutions could be found over the course of the process to the issues that look contentious within the context of Iran, including the nuclear issue. Underscoring that Türkiye desires a new era in which countries of the region do not pose threats to one another, President Erdoğan added that a just peace would have no losers.

The book titled “Investment and Finance in the Türkiye Century,” jointly prepared by @iletisim and @InvestTurkey, was launched at an exclusive event held at the @tvfifm. Hosted as part of the Investment and Finance Office’s 20th anniversary, the event brought together representatives from the financial sector, international investors, public and private sector officials, and members of the media. The program opened with remarks by Vice President @_cevdetyilmaz, Communications Head @burhanduran, and Investment and Finance Office President @aburakdaglioglu. Vice President Yılmaz reaffirmed Türkiye's objective to elevate its position in the global economy, noting that foreign capital inflows over the past 23 years have surpassed USD 290 billion. Dağlıoğlu emphasized Türkiye's growing recognition as a powerhouse for investment and production, while Duran highlighted digital infrastructure, green energy, and high technology as the strategic pillars of the country’s economic vision. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the 2nd Istanbul Natural Resources Summit: “While developing its own resources, Türkiye is also increasingly recognised as one of the most reliable partners in global energy diplomacy. This finds its most tangible manifestation in our drilling activities in Somalia, our planned initiatives in Pakistan, and our cooperation extending from Libya to Central Asia. Our operations off the coast of Somalia hold historic significance, as they constitute Türkiye’s first deep-sea exploration drilling mission abroad. If climate and weather conditions remain favourable, we anticipate completing the drilling operation within 6 to 9 months. Our desire is to bring the long-awaited good news to the brotherly people of Somalia, who have struggled for many years with domestic instability and famine. In neighbouring Syria, our joint efforts with the new government are also continuing in both the mining and petroleum sectors. With the completion of the integration process in Syria, the conditions for new cooperation opportunities will become far more favourable. As Türkiye, we are providing the necessary support to the Syrian government to ensure the process concludes smoothly."
