genuinely haven’t seen such interest in the comp scene before in a wave like this in the 2~ years I’ve been in comp. shoutout to mauri, hens’ tourneys, the cotf world cup, bhvr for hosting comp events, comp qts, etc, all this interest in improving + learning is very cool to see.

Reminder a killer moves faster than survivors, don't run behind a survivor and try and predict their pathing to cut them off and prevent them from moving chases away from your high priority gens 💕

Venturing too far into the map for a chase can result in gens being split out evenly. Ideally you wanna zone survivors in the direction of your 3 gen and not commit to chases if they run toward an unfavorable direction.

🩸🔪 Killer Tip of the day 🔪🩸 Recognize your high priority gens (aka 3 gens). Patrolling and making sure that chases happen within the range of the 3 gen will ensure that you have more map pressure during late game.

Dropping safe pallets to avoid getting hit is time wasted on killer if they cant secure a down or an injury. Late game is always a game of where to go down, like edge map where gens are completed. Assuring 2 or 3 gens pop in your first chase is a big W.

Survivor tip of the day 💕 Drop shack pallet! If you are in chase and the chase has extended to where a gen is close to popping, drop that pallet! The biggest thing you can do in chase is secure time for gens to be completed.

Comp Cuties is heavily against the use of generative Ai. We suggest the use of free spin the wheels (good ole traditional way) and google sheet for keeping track of progress. Gen AI affects marginalized communities the most due to the data centers being built around them.

So not to rain on the parade as I was super interested in hopping on the Survivor Gauntlet challenge myself. But for those against GenAi, this is a heads up that the dev of the tool admits to using KiloCode which is a GenAi Coding Assistant. I'm gonna have to sit this one out🫤

Think of slugging as a way to apply pressure. A survivor needs to go and pick up that person, which could put them in a bad position. Use slugging wisely, and pay attention to survivor’s perks. Use it when you know another survivor is around.

Killer tip of the day🧛‍♂️🐺✨✨🔥 SLUGGING! Don’t be afraid to leave a survivor on the ground if you know other survivors are around. It should be used to apply pressure. If you have two survivors on nearby hooks, down a third and look for the fourth!

Alternatively it's also best to loop around your own gen if your solo queue teammates are elsewhere on the map. Overly protecting progress in one gen often results in snowballing.

Survivor tip of the day 💕 If you are unsure what gens are being worked on while in chase its best to keep chases where gens have already been completed, this creates a scenario where tunneling isn't viable for the killer since they lose gen pressure.
