This is my latest track on Bandcamp. The theme I went with for this track is ambiguous, with a bit of tension. I primarily used augmented chords and sound design elements, along with a few orchestral instruments, to create a rich, wide sound.

It's been quite some time since I last posted here. I've been working on several things in the background, but I'll post here occasionally for now.
As of now, I'll be more active on Bandcamp, and possibly down the road, I'll do more with X.

One tip I have for improving your music is to transcribe or listen to music and be a bit analytical about it.
The best way to start off is with something simple and figure out what the melody, bass, and accompaniment are doing.
This can be as simple as pulling up a piano sample and then trying to play along to a YouTube video.
Over time, you'll get better and be able to understand what's going on in a piece of music, which can help your compositions in general.

@MyronGainesX At the minimum, she should face the same prison sentence and pay 5m in damages for falsely accusing him.

She should spend 14 years in prison and pay him 1.4M for destroying his life.
Women make false accusation because they face no consequences for doing so and that must end...

Woman apologized to a man that she mistakenly identified as her rap*st. Dean was falsely convicted and he spent 14 years in prison for this crime and was exonerated by DNA in 2008. What should her punishment be for lying?

@joshsilentmode For the most part, I do 2 chances. In rare situations, I do 3, but generally, 2 is good in my opinion.

One thing that really helps bring a bit of depth to a mix is reverb. This was the first time I went deep into reverb, and the result I got was nice.
If you're curious about what reverb I'm using, it's the lite version of Seventh Heaven by Liquid Sonics.

For some reason the music didn't get attached to the tweet I sent out a few days ago so here it is. The way I got a full sound is by filling out the whole frequency spectrum.
The bass in this case is a variety of instruments, but primarily synths. The middle section consists of the organ and other various instruments, while the highs are the melodic instruments.

I ended this piece on Section B as this theme is all about the hero prevailing. If this was a battle theme, I would probably have it loop, but it all comes down to the context and what your goal for the piece is.
The overall feeling I went for was a cinematic and powerful vibe for Section B. This is also the first time I attempted a large cinematic section. I'd say it turned out good, but there are some things I can do better the next time I compose something similar to this.
The instruments I used were brass and percussion for power, the organ for a bit of depth, strings and choir for a nice bed of sound and the woodwinds as a extra layer. I also added in some counter melodies, so as the melody rested or held on a note for a while, I used some countermelodies to fill in the gap.
The way I mixed this was by mixing a group and then going to an individual track. I would mix the strings as a whole and then address any other parts of the strings and do the same for all the other sections.

I had some issues getting the sound to not pop in and out. I'll probably have to update Cubase at some point as I'm currently 2 versions behind, which has caused some issues with certain plugins.
I have this interlude here as a sort of break from the dark mood and a change of texture which will be setting up for Section B. I kept the interlude's harmony a bit more hopeful and positive.
