Advocating against people’s bodily autonomy is always done to force people to conform to essentialist ideas about people’s bodies and gender. People should be free to make their own choices about their bodies, their expression and identity without interference and judgement.

People will cry ‘mutilation!’ in reference to consensual surgeries for trans people and advocate against them, but won’t ever raise awareness of non-consensual surgeries performed on intersex people that can cause life-long harm. The bigotry and lack of empathy is glaring.

@UglaStefania So, you think it's consensual if someone under 18 wants to do something with their bodies, like take body-altering pills or clinical dissection? Nothing to do with bigotry in my opinion.

@darryn_briggs When I noticed who was stealing things from TK Maxx, it wasn't astounding to say the least. Also, notice how he grabbed the bags she was trying to steal, and SHE HIT HIM FIRST. She's lucky she got away.

I would tell you I'm astounded at people making excuses for: a) A man who choked someone to death on a Subway b) A man who ASSAULTED A WOMAN to stop her from stealing merchandise at TJ MAXX... ..but when you consider both victims are black, it's not astounding in the least.
