I know football culture in general can be very hostile, but so many Middlesbrough fans were actively abusing disappointed #SaintsFC ones online even when it wasn't their fault what the club did, and again acting like promotion was secured. Them now losing is just embarrassing.

I don't blame Middlesbrough fans for our stupid mistakes, but the problem was the amount of fans who kept abusing #SaintsFC fans who were genuinely upset over what the club had done and didn't defend it. Constant mockery and acting like they'd already secured promotion.

@EIIIi0t I don't really get it either. I guess social media and the news etc all just blew it out of proportion, and Middlesbrough didn't help when their manager was inciting hateful behaviour against us. But we're far from guilt free. Everyone's handled things terribly tbh.
