Those of you who think the APC in Abia State is joking should think again. I know what is building in Abia State, and I can assure you that Alex Otti will be a one term governor.

Okaaaay, I don come o🤷 . Yesterday, I told you I was going to explain why Peter Obi and Kwankwaso ended up in NDC, and what really happened behind the scenes 👀 So here’s the simple gist 👇 When it started looking like Atiku Abubakar would become the main candidate in ADC (you know now 😜 Ibadan summit), Peter Obi knew things weren’t going to favour him there 🤔 So he began looking for another option. But not just any option, he wanted strong backing 💰(money). Basically, he was looking for something similar to what happened when Atiku picked Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate, a sitting governor with money, structure, and influence 🏛️ That’s how the Accord Party idea came in 💡(Remember when I posted about Accord Party? They've contacted Adeleke then, but have not had one-on-one meeting with him) Why Accord Party? Because of Governor Adeleke 🕺 Remember, he is their biggest political figure, and being a sitting governor, he had the kind of financial and structural support Obi was looking for(That's the reason why Obi visited Bala Mohammed). Plus, the party itself was seen as a clean slate ✨ So they reached out and even had a meeting with Adeleke in Abuja 🤝 But here’s where things changed 😳 Adeleke made it clear that he and his structure in Osun were already aligned with Bola Ahmed Tinubu 🇳🇬 That immediately shut the door on that plan 🚪❌ For Obi, that was a big setback 😬 No governor backing, no financial muscle, and no control of the party structure, everything he was hoping to gain from Accord Party was gone. At that point, they didn’t really have many strong options left 🤷‍♂️ That’s how NDC became the next move 🔄 But unlike Accord Party, NDC doesn’t have a sitting governor or that same level of structure, so it’s definitely going to be more challenging for them going forward ⚠️ In the end, from this perspective, it looks like the opposition is lost 📉 which works in favour of Tinubu 🏆 Tinubu till 2031 👀🍿 My biggest achievement in 2026 is joining Obidients WhatsApp group. It's the best comedy house 😂😂

UPDATES!!! 🚨 NDC was not their first choice, it was ACCORD PARTY. But they were rejected ❌ I will tell you what happened tomorrow ⏳ Eku oju lona 👀 Watch out!! 🚨

My decision to join the ADC in August 2025 was entirely independent, driven by a personal commitment to resist APC attempt to turn Nigeria into a Party Dominant State My allegiance lies with the cause, not with any specific individual. I remain committed to that!

I want to tell you the bitter truth from the long post that Peter Obi made yesterday and the reason why he is leaving ADC. The truth is that Obi is a coward, a man who does not face challenges head-on. The problem in ADC is too small compared to the problems of the nation he wants to lead. This is a simple testament that he would abandon his responsibilities and then blame the entire country for it. He is a man who was overhyped and, unfortunately for him, is not meeting expectations. Only those with low understanding, those who take a long time to process reality, will keep holding on to what they were told, regardless of how events have changed. Only such people still believe in him. Those who are more discerning have seen him for who he is and have left the sinking ship.

"The condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria, informed my decision to leave ADC for NDC." Yesterday, I formally joined the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), alongside my dear brother, Engr. Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, with one clear purpose: to continue the struggle for a new Nigeria built on justice, competence, accountability, and compassion for the ordinary Nigerian. As I stated yesterday, this decision was not made out of anger, personal ambition, or convenience. It came after deep reflection on the present condition of our nation and the urgent need to rescue Nigeria from the dangerous path it is currently heading. Over the years, I have remained steadfast in my conviction that politics should never be about individuals, positions, or personal gain. It must be about the people, especially the millions of Nigerians who today can no longer afford necessities, whose businesses are collapsing, whose children are losing hope, and whose future is becoming increasingly uncertain. I left the ADC for the same reason I left the Labour Party: the severe, orchestrated litigation and internal crises deliberately designed to ensure that I, alongside many other notable individuals, do not effectively participate in the electoral process. I sincerely appreciate and remain deeply grateful to the Leadership of ADC for the opportunity to work together in pursuit of a better Nigeria. I am particularly grateful to ADC Chairman Senator David Mark for his exceptional Leadership. I also deeply appreciate my Leader and elder brother YE, Atiku Abubakar, as well as other respected leaders within the party. As we join the NDC, I sincerely appeal to the Nigerian Government against the encouragement of unresolved litigations and the infusion of crises within political parties. Democracy must never become a weapon against the people. A healthy democracy thrives on strong institutions, credible alternatives, and the freedom of citizens to make choices without intimidation, manipulation, or fear. Opposition parties must not be weakened or destroyed, because when democracy loses balance, the people ultimately suffer. Nigeria today is passing through one of the most difficult periods in its history. Poverty is rising. Hunger is widespread. Insecurity continues to threaten lives and livelihoods. Businesses are shutting down daily. Our young people are becoming discouraged, and many citizens have lost faith in the system. At a time like this, leadership must be driven not by propaganda or division, but by competence, capacity, character, and compassion. Our decision to join the NDC is therefore not an abandonment of values, but a continuation of the same mission we have always stood for: building a Nigeria where leadership is about service, where public resources are managed responsibly, where institutions function independently, and where every Nigerian, regardless of tribe, religion, region, or social status, can live with dignity, security, and hope. I remain committed to working with all Nigerians of goodwill across political, ethnic, and religious lines. The task before us is bigger than any individual or political party. It is about the future of our children and the survival of our dear nation. I thank Nigerians, especially our youths and women, for remaining peaceful, resilient, and hopeful despite the enormous challenges confronting the country. I urge you not to lose faith in Nigeria. Nations do not change because people surrender to hopelessness; they change because people continue to believe, continue to sacrifice, and continue to stand for what is right. A new Nigeria is still POssible. -PO

OFFICIAL STATEMENT My dear people of Surulere Constituency I, I greet you all with profound respect and gratitude. A few days ago, I obtained the nomination form to seek a return mandate to the Lagos State House of Assembly to represent Surulere Constituency I. I write to formally inform all residents, workers, political associates, leaders, stakeholders, and the good people of Surulere of this decision. This step is born out of my continued commitment to serve, to consolidate the progress we have made together, and to further advance our collective aspirations. I remain deeply grateful for the trust, encouragement, and solidarity you have shown me over the years. By the grace of God, my return to the House will confer ranking status on our constituency. In a system where experience is recognized, this position will attract greater attention and benefits for our people. To our party leaders in Surulere Local Government, ward executives, community leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and all stakeholders across Lagos State and beyond: I sincerely appreciate your unwavering support, guidance, and belief in our shared vision. I appeal to all my supporters to remain calm, steadfast, and focused. Let us continue to uphold peace, unity, and respect as we move forward on this journey together. Our strength has always been in our togetherness, and I am confident that the same spirit will see us through. I do not take your support for granted. Together, we will continue to build a stronger Surulere and contribute meaningfully to the development of Lagos State. Thank you all. May we continue to move forward in unity and purpose. Signed, Hon. Desmond Olushola Elliott Member representing Surulere Constituency I Lagos State House of Assembly

@Adaigboglobal There's no need for all this movement. If OBI weren't a selfish person, he would have collaborated with Atiku to dethrone Tinubu. Now he's formed a separate party. What happened? The situation in 2023 will repeat itself, and the APC will still retain power. What’s the point?

I have done best in the obidient movement on the plateau since 2023 general elections. In the ADC I also mobilized Obidients into the ADC, actively took party in the formation of the party structure and emerged as the state woman leader. Right now, I must take a decision for me. I wish Nigeria the best of luck. I feel bad that Tinubu is coming back without much struggle

@AreaFada1 @iykedave11 Tinubu wanted to become President, he forged a party through a strong alliance, supported Buhari who was a strong northern contender then came out at his time. Peter Obi believes everyone should just let him run and win. It’s an exaggerated self importance. Please advise him.
