Instead of upholding the law, he engaged in the sexual exploitation of children and abused an animal that had served alongside him a serious betrayal of both his badge and his role. When individuals in law enforcement are found committing these types of crimes, it raises serious concerns about how they were able to operate without detection for so long. What kind of oversight and monitoring should police departments have to identify and remove officers who pose a danger to children and dogs?
