Victor Wembanyama had to eat high-protein meat meals inside a hidden sprinter van while training at the Shaolin Temple, per @ramonashelburne 😭 "But several times a day his team arranged for a sprinter van to pull into the monastery, pick up Wembanyama and drive him outside the walls of the temple, where someone would deliver a high-protein meal from a local restaurant. He would eat it inside the sprinter van, dispose of any remaining meat, then be driven back inside the temple." (espn.com/nba/story/_/id…)

Why didn't Sweetgreen $SG management give hard data when asked? Probably because wraps are cannibalizing salads on the product mix instead of driving sustainable traffic gains outside of first time or lapsed customers trying it and saying it was good, but not worth paying $11 to $15 to come back often Meaning....any short-term boost will disappear in the long-term.

Not sure what’s worse, Nithya going on Hasan Piker’s show, or promoting her support of ULA as a housing production measure when it has literally destroyed new development. I have no idea how ANY YIMBY can support her.

Lizzo calls out her label, Atlantic Records for sabotaging her and not properly promoting her music — I'm so tired of this sh't: ".. I don't know but I'm [crashing out] on my label right now because I just really like, I don't know. I feel like there's not any marketing money being put towards all of my ideas. Like I had an idea.I had a meeting. We had a meeting a month ago with like a bunch of incredible ideas. None of them have been implemented. I text them weekly things that I want to see done in the digital space and ideas and things. I want to make I don't see them get done. I don't see them and it's just I'm starting to really really really feel down about it because it's like I feel helpless. It's like what can I do? What more can I do? You know, I've been on TV. I've been like posting every f*cki*ng day. I be posting to the songs. I've shot two music videos put them out. I'm like damn like what the f*ck else do I need to do like right now? I'm literally coming up with ideas to like do more marketing but it's like in 2026 unless you're a brand new artist or somebody no one's ever heard of and is getting, you know, popping off finally like finally getting recognised is really (hard to cut the f*ck through like I am and it's like I have people who want to buy my album. But how they gonna buy it if they don't know if it's for sale and so it frustrates me."

"There are three levels of story for a company. The first level is just literally: what are you even doing? Half of startup founders probably can't even articulate just that. Level two is: what does that represent? What is the upshot of you doing this successfully? Level three is: what is the shape of the dent in the universe and in society, if this works? For SpaceX, level one might be: we're building a rocket. Pretty cool, not maximum cool. Level two is: we're building a rocket to restore American space flight from the private sector to revive an industry that's been stagnant for decades. More inspiring, not final form. Level three would be: we're restoring space flight from America, humanity's last best hope, because we need to make mankind an interplanetary species."

What is truly insane to me is how many dudes with > $100M who have done cool stuff before are dedicating the remainder of their working career to B2B AI stuff. Dudes with Wikipedia pages who never have to work again. Their grandkids don’t have to work. They’re like 44 an only have 10 years left of having lead in their pencil. And they’re just 100% all in on B2B AI tools.

if the Zendaya portion of Euphoria s3 was siloed off from everything else and had a different title I feel like it would be a pretty universally praised as a fairly provocative, stylish, interesting modern crime story
