As well as Valve adding 2 hour trade ban when changing name, it also seems like they removed peoples profile icons on the community market when you list an item. Since many scammers were able to get data of a profile here of who listed an item and add them to scam them.

In an attempt to make auctions a better experience on SkinBid, I want to ask you guys for some input!

Currently auctions are becoming increasingly popular, and they have a great use case. However, they are being flooded with people listing skins above the actual value, which ruins the purpose of an auction and these skins should instead be listed as a regular market listing.
Therefore, an idea:
Auctions will no longer be POSSIBLE to create if your START PRICE exceeds our MARKET TREND, making all listings "bid-worthy", if this price is too low for you, then simply DONT use auctions but use our marketplace instead.
This new rule would be overruled if your item has;
- low float
- N/A price
- blue gem
- high sticker value
Upon listing an overpriced item it would prompt an error message similiar to:
"We do not allow auctions to be listed above our market trend. Instead, we suggest you list it for the price you want on a regular market listing"

Let me know if this is an update that people would appreciate, I think it would make the auction section smaller, but way more competitive and interesting to follow.
