Mind-Body-Soul day for the Cougars. Started the morning with a session on Accountability with Education Stadium, practiced outside, and participated in MeToWe with former Cougar Zach Gale. Theme of the day MLB Opening Day! Go all teams represented, especially the Mariners.

Cougars (3-0-1) score 5 in the 5th to force a 5-5 tie vs a very good Plainfield Central team. Lucas Olson has a 2 out game tying RBI single for the second day in a row. Mason Hopkins kept it tied in relief until darkness ended the game. Cougars host Leyden Saturday.

Cougars (3-0) are 4-3 walkoff winners as Alex Martinez scores Andrew Lipka in the 7th. Will Peterhansen and Mason Hopkins pitch 3.1 shutout innings in relief to keep the Cougars in it after Joe Garza K’d 4 over 3.2 IP. Cougars travel to Plainfield Central Tuesday.

Cougars (2-0) win 11-3 highlighted by a solo 💣 by Alex Martinez and a grand slam from Andrew Miller. Lucas Olson K’s 7 over 4 innings pitched and Bryce Hirschfeld and Mason Hopkins pitched 3 shutout innings in relief. Cougars home opener is Monday vs Harlem.

Cougars win 6-0 on opening day. Alex Martinez picks up the W with 4.2 shutout innings. Will PeterHansen gets the final 4 outs. Max Tutt had a big two out 2 RBI single and Arjun Patel followed with another. Cougars travel to Addison Trail tomorrow.

Sim Game Saturday ends in a 5-5 tie. Opening Day 6 days away!
