What is it that people expect from deporting people? Because it won't lower House prices or rents. And it won't make food or energy cheaper. There won't be more jobs and they certainly won't pay better. At what point do you realise it is going to achieve nothing?

It's staggering that given the previous @HousingOmbuds decision @lambeth_council are still intent on ignoring the very necessary upgrade to our lifts on #CottonGardensEstate. Ridiculous that residents have to go to such extremes for repairs to services that we're paying for.

@GoingtoShed @lambeth_council And they've left the replacement so long that in the long run it'll cost them much more than if they'd replaced them when they should have been. I think they're going to leave everything so that they can just demolish our estate and sell the land.

A small update on the lift that broke down on 2nd October. The estimated repair date of 10th October has been officially upgraded to 'ASAP'. A bold strategy. I hope the other lift doesn't break down before 'ASAP' arrives. @lambeth_council, sort it out! #CottonGardensEstate

This has appeared on the noticeboard. @lambeth_council has neglected to mention that the TRA has been disbanded, and failed to inform residents that there is no TRA as they've done on two previous occasions. There's defo something fishy going on.

@ConcernedResie ℹ️ Sadly, residents haven't been informed that our Tenant & Resident Association (TRA) was disbanded in August 2025 by @Lambeth_Council. Now, the focus is solely on the community hall, rather than addressing pressing communal issues. #CottonGardensEstate Residents deserve better!
