Our Directors of Clinical Services took time out of their busy schedules this week to participate in a Leaders 101 Seminar in Gainesville. It was a great day focused on both clinical and leadership competency identification and development related to their important role.

Our Horizon Home Care team had the chance recently to see and smile with some amazing case managers and social workers at Citrus Memorial. We are thankful for the work they do and the partnership we have with them to help provide exceptional care to our seniors in Florida.

Nursing Week ends intentionally on May 12th. Today marks the birthdate of an amazing woman, Florence Nightingale. Florence Nightingale started the first scientifically based nursing school, the Nightingale School of Nursing, in 1860. Today we honor the "Lady with the Lamp."
