Have been looking at how attack angle (a player's median launch angle for the top 10% hardest hit balls per season) correlates with swing and miss rate in the MLB. Kind of interesting how swing and miss rate falls originally then rises as pitch vertical movement increases

And a HUGE thank you to @Stat_Ron and Adam Brodie (Houston Astro’s) for all their help! We are looking forward to continuing our research and presenting our findings at the Carnegie Mellon Sports Analytics Conference @CMU_Stats

What a weird phenomenon, someone reached out to me that their emoji was blue, but on emojipedia it’s still yellow???!!
