As we head to the 10th, the Astros don't have any position players available on their bench. The only relievers available are King and Sousa, who have gone two days in a row, and Teng, who threw 23 pitches yesterday. Weiss is here, but he's the likely starter tomorrow.

My colleague and I left $20 on a $309 bill at a Michelin star restaurant last night, and the waitress looked at us like we’d just insulted her grandmother.We split it—$10 from me, $10 from her. The service was fine, nothing exceptional but nothing wrong either. Just standard polite service at a place where the cheapest appetizer was $24. When she picked up the check folder, she opened it right there at the table, saw the two tens, and her face actually dropped. She snapped it shut, forced a smile, and walked away without saying goodbye.We were barely out the door when I heard her telling the hostess something that ended with “…can’t believe it.”I know Michelin spots usually expect 20%, but we’re talking $60+ on food that was good but not life-changing. Am I wrong for thinking the tip should match the service, not just the prestige of the address? Or was I supposed to empty my wallet just because they got a fancy plaque from some committee?

@HtownWheelhouse @DDelgattoNFL @astros They did same with Tucker when he came up the first time. Second time, he was great. They bring them up with a lot of hype before they are ready. If you have to bring them up, don't do the hype - we're smart enough to see if they aren't completely ready.

I’m sure many have thought this and I haven’t been sold. He’s obviously a way better hitter on the road than he is at home. But burying a guy after 104 career AB’s seems a bit premature. The bottom line is the @astros have not handled Cam Smith, Brice Matthews and a few others with a more traditional timeline. And for obvious reasons…

This man was a high school football star until he got charged with a rape of a 16 year old girl. The charge was eventually dropped after 16-year-old girl confessed that the rape never happened. Unfortunately, he spent 6 years falsely imprisoned and broke down when the case was moved to dismissed. Do you think this girl should face any consequences? And if so..... what?

@MbarkCherguia I like it - I demanded my kids act appropriately in public and have no qualms about it being required of others. It is however sad that grown adults have to be told that.

@jimmysoldout Because when it is paid off you don't have the monthly mortgage payment. I have not had a mortgage since 1990. It is very freeing!

no shade but why would i literally ever buy a home… you still have to pay a mortgage monthly that would be the same cost as just paying rent atp. and at least with renting, the expenses for anything that goes wrong falls into the landlord instead of on you
