Most TV series based off of movies, have to reestablish all the characters in the pilot, but Fargo does something completely different: completely new characters/story with similar vibes, themes, motifs, and lore as the movie. Lester as the Jerry type, Molly as a pregnant cop.
But best of all, the unstoppable agent of chaos in most Coen Brothers movies is so perfectly cast:

Bryan Cranston playing Walter White in Breaking Bad (2008–2013) works so well since he never treats Heisenberg like a cool transformation. The performance keeps exposing how much insecurity and wounded pride sit underneath all that power.

Omar Little in The Wire (2002–2008) feels larger than the show itself at times. Michael K. Williams plays him like a man fully aware he’s already become a street legend, yet the quiet moments still carry so much loneliness underneath.

@BadFilmTakes1 If someone is a big TV fan, I usually recommend to start with Twin Peaks, if they like horror, I recommend Blue Velvet, and if they like intrigue, Mulholland Drive

If the movies don’t work for you, there’s always Twin Peaks, his greatest achievement. The characters and world are so well drawn, and it’s hard not to get wrapped up in the mystery. It’s great storytelling if anything.
