$AMD trades at 150x last year's earnings, which feels extreme. On analyst estimates for the next 12 months, that drops to 57x. The only way both numbers are true at the same time is if profits nearly triple.

$BRK.B now holds $397 billion in cash, on a market cap of about $1 trillion. Nearly 40 cents of every dollar you pay for the stock is just sitting in T-bills. The interesting question isn't what the businesses earn. It's what Greg Abel does with that pile.

$MSFT is putting $190 billion into infrastructure this year while still guiding for 44% operating margins. At some point the spending has to show up in the numbers. The weird thing is it still hasn't.

$AMZN posted $2.78 in earnings per share last quarter. Wall Street was expecting $1.64. I'm not sure what the models were missing, but that gap is hard to ignore.

$PLTR trades at 153x trailing earnings, which sounds absurd. Earnings grew 325% this year though, pulling the forward P/E down to 67x. The gap between those two numbers is pretty much the entire debate around the stock.

$NFLX is trading at 28x earnings, a full 55% below its 10-year median. Revenue is still growing at 16% and margins are expanding. The market basically decided it was a mature business, and then Netflix just kept growing.

$META made $56 billion in revenue last quarter, growing 33% from a year ago. Then they raised their annual capital spending plan to $145 billion. The company is essentially betting its entire year of revenue on one idea.

$AMD trades at 136x trailing earnings right now. That number sounds alarming until you see that earnings grew 91% this year, which pulls the forward multiple all the way down to 32x. The whole debate about the stock basically lives in that gap.

$META is 23% below its yearly high and still trades at 17 times forward earnings. Revenue grew 33% last year, and last quarter's earnings came in 57% above estimates. I keep looking for the catch.

$META just printed $10.44 in earnings last quarter when analysts expected $6.66. The stock is still 24% below its 52-week high despite that. I find that gap harder to explain than most.

$NVDA reports earnings in 16 days. It beat analyst estimates all four quarters last year, growing EPS from $0.81 to $1.62 along the way. The actual number will be interesting, but what Jensen Huang says about AI demand afterward will matter more.

$META trades at 22x trailing earnings, but on forward estimates that drops to 16x. The market is pricing in another 30% jump in profits over the next year. They just beat last quarter by 57%, so maybe that's not as ambitious as it sounds.
