We could have extended the Affordable Care Act tax credits, keeping premiums from rising for millions of Americans. Instead, Trump spent that money on a war with Iran. Trump won't even give a straight answer on why we're there. I refuse to give him a blank check.

Republicans' "balanced budget" scheme isn't worth the paper it's written on. Republicans just gleefully ADDED $4 trillion to the debt so they could enrich their billionaire friends. This is all just Washington theater to cover their tracks. Don't fall for it.
House Budget Committee Democrats@HouseBudgetDems

"American families don't need a lecture on fiscal responsibility from the same politicians who just added $4 trillion to the debt with their so-called 'Big Beautiful Bill.'" Ranking Member @CongBoyle on Republicans' latest scheme to reward billionaires:

On National Transit Employee Appreciation Day, I'm grateful for the thousands of transit workers, like my dad, a retired union SEPTA worker, who show up every day to keep our country moving. Hardworking people, like those at @transportworker, are the heartbeat of this country.

On Trump's watch, costs are far too high, and the job market is a mess. But instead of changing course, he's lashing out at the Fed for not doing his bidding. If Trump actually wants to fix the issues in our economy, he should start by looking in a mirror.

"Our economy was already showing clear signs of strain, and now President Trump’s reckless war in Iran has made a bad situation worse." Ranking Member @CongBoyle on today's Fed interest rate decision:

I joined the Pennsylvania delegation for a moment of silence honoring PA State Police Corporal Timothy O'Connor Jr., who was tragically killed in the line of duty. I am deeply grateful for our brave law enforcement, and my prayers are with his family.

It was wonderful visiting the Tacony Senior Citizens Club. We spoke about the many services my district offices provide and my commitment to protecting Social Security benefits for all Americans — now and in the future.

I'm proud to announce $1.4 million in federal funding I delivered for infrastructure improvements here at Northeast Philadelphia Airport. These investments will help upgrade airport operations and provide increased security for the surrounding neighborhoods.

Instead of taking accountability for his disastrous economic policies, Trump decided to weaponize the Justice Department to attack the Fed Chair. I'm glad to see a judge saw through this charade and threw out these obviously political and targeted subpoenas.

Last year, Republicans made the biggest cuts to health care in American history. Now, they've started a reckless war. Prices are rising even higher, and millions of Americans can't get the care they need. But if you're a billionaire? Republicans gave you massive tax breaks.

The money Trump wasted on his Iran war could have been used to save health care tax credits for millions. Instead, Republicans slashed health care coverage, and Trump still hasn't given a clear answer about why our brave troops are in harm's way and why he started this war.

Whether at the gas station, the grocery store, or anywhere else, Americans are paying the price for Trump's failed economic policies. While Americans continue to be crushed by higher prices, the president has only made things worse with his tariff taxes and another foreign war.
House Budget Committee Democrats@HouseBudgetDems

"With inflation still too high and a shrinking job market, families can't afford Donald Trump sending prices even higher with his reckless decisions and his giveaways to his billionaire donors." Ranking Member @CongBoyle on today's PCE inflation data:

Trump started an unnecessary foreign war instead of helping Americans who are being crushed by rising prices. Gas prices are now skyrocketing because of Trump's decision — forcing some Pennsylvanians to choose between filling their tank or feeding their family.
