@harther16 @emersonslefttoe @Rory_Talks_Ball Millwall could be in the Premier League next year, so they may be denied that privilege too

@emersonslefttoe @Rory_Talks_Ball Cus yours decides whether you’ll be playing championship football for the next 10 years going millwall away.

Are they in a cup final today too?

@MD_Morris @DaftLimmy I was like that with Game of Thrones. It took me until the 3rd season to get into it. I did stick with it because I kept hearing how good it was. Just needed the dragons to show up basically. (Mad Men doesn't have dragons to save it though)
English
@DaftLimmy I never liked Mad Men. Watched 10 episodes cos everyone told me it was good, then gave up.
People told me I should watch to the end of Season 3 and then I'd get into it.
Had already given it 10 hours and didn't like it, what were the chances of me giving it another 30?
English

@reedjonny @jamesallcott I've seen the first one too and it didn't hit me as much as the second did. But still a good film.
English

@ConjoinedW @jamesallcott First one has a high IMDB rating too, will watch both. Great recommendation
English

@to_anfield @jamesallcott That and A Town Called Panic has to be on any top tier film list
English

@ConjoinedW @jamesallcott Never ever have those films been listed next to Shaun the sheep 😂
English

@JSMilly_2 @jamesallcott I could do a whole list of just Korean films, so many bangers. Have you seen A Hard Day? Bonkers film.
English

@reedjonny @jamesallcott You don't need to. I didn't and still enjoyed it.
English

@jamesallcott Oh and any film made by Sean Baker, Kim-Ki-Duk and Satoshi Kon
English

@jamesallcott Masquerade (Korean), Burning (Korean), I Saw The Devil (Korean), Ne Zha/ Ne Zha 2 (Chinese), One Cut of the Dead (Japanese), Tekkonkinkreet (Japanese), Elite Squad 2 (Brazilian), Shaun The Sheep The Movie (British). All certified bangers.
English

@ThatGarthGuy @AaronBastani We need more silly things imo. I love the funny mascots and weirdness you come across in places like South Korea. I'd love us to import that kind of fun, something we're so averse to in our public spaces.
English

@ConjoinedW @AaronBastani I think he's opposed to public art that's really nebulous and confusing
Like, no more "drones in whipped cream" kind of stuff

It’s utterly critical that the design language of this doesn’t succumb to G4S detention centre-core.

@Dblack_Rabbit @Fazzanelli @judeinlondon I do understand how damaging and awful that word is as I'm sure the people who suffer from this condition know too. The problem is, he's going to keep saying it. So beyond what you've suggested, which i totally agree with, and which he has been working on, what can be done?
English

@ConjoinedW @Fazzanelli @judeinlondon Once again I understand that is a neurological disorder that is involuntary, why is it that you can't understand the pain and trauma of being called the n word?
English

@Dblack_Rabbit @Fazzanelli @judeinlondon The irony here being that the process you're talking about is exactly the kind of work this guy has been doing for pretty much all of his adult life. Please, just watch the film and if you still feel the same way about it, fair enough.
English

@ConjoinedW @Fazzanelli @judeinlondon You can do both, you can acknowledge both and work to create a nuance process of mitigation and resolution. But what you want is a nice pretty answer that defers to your feelings that it can be just a word and you can be a good person and not have to think about it
English

@Dblack_Rabbit @Fazzanelli @judeinlondon What about what we can do for these people? They have a condition that we know about, that we know they can't control and yet we still insist that they apologise for being themselves. And btw they do apologise. But we have a role to play too, by not demanding they do so.
English

@houstonbch @JumaaneWilliams The thing is, ironically this is entirely the stoey of I Swear. He's saying the worst possible thing at the worst possible time and it happens throughout the film and gets him in lots of trouble. It's horrible for him and it's horrible for the people who hear it.
English

@JumaaneWilliams If possible, would you mind speaking on if it happened to you would have preferred it be handled differently.
During the hour delay was John offered the grace of being offered editing it out to avoid this becoming the story instead of I Swear?

@himynameisdagan @TheIshikawaRin I bought from Loaded too until I discovered they're grey market, meaning the developer gets nothing from your purchase. Loaded don't buy keys directly from the publisher. If you care, try isthereanydeal.com for sites that get keys from the publisher. Still savings to be had.
English

@TheIshikawaRin CDKeys/Loaded will have it on their site within a few days and it’ll probably be £20-30 cheaper 🗿
English

@DylanMcLellan04 @NMcbeach7386 @JoshGhalgh @AaronBastani If it were such a big issue, I'd expect we'd see more uniformed schools. Do Swedish schools suffer more bullying than English schools because they don't have a uniform? And what about the benefits to children of being allowed to wear what they like at school?
English

@ConjoinedW @NMcbeach7386 @JoshGhalgh @AaronBastani Uniforms don’t stop all bullying yes. But they stop bullying based on clothing, brands etc.
English

@NMcbeach7386 @JoshGhalgh @AaronBastani Have you got any evidence for that claim? because I hear it all the time. From my albeit anecdotal experience, I have my doubts. And by that I mean, the extent to which uniform-related bullying outweighs the benefits of children being able to wear what they want.
English

@ConjoinedW @JoshGhalgh @AaronBastani They reduce bullying. It saves them money because uniforms are cheap to replace and kids will spend most of their time wearing them
