Meet Daniel S., a freshman who has been w/ GACA since the 6th grade. He was accepted into both the STEAM program & it’s Honors track, offered in HS. He appreciates the flexibility & pace offered here. In his spare time, Daniel can be found hanging with his dog, Cheddar! #GACA100

Lower School hosted a social event for families who are far west in the state of Georgia to gather for food and fun! They were able to come together at a local pizza restaurant in town and eat, do crafts, play games and socialize with each other. #GACA100

CTAE month is a time to celebrate all that Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education offers our students. This may be preparing them to continue their education in college or enter the workforce with the knowledge and skills needed to be productive and successful. #GACA100

Ms. Alexis Smith Thomason’s Digital Photography I class shared some of their curated “eye candy”. Students created photo collages, made re-creations of famous photographers, and experimented with night photography. This semester has so much more in store!! #GACA100

Meet Xavier P. (Xeve), a middle school student who has always been known for his politeness, helpfulness and caring nature, for others. As a Junior Golfer/Brand Ambassador, he enjoys GACA’s schedule flexibility combined with the awesome education! #GACA100

Our DECA Chapter donated toys to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta as part of their community service effort. Students from around the state shared in the joy of bringing happiness to the kiddos at CHOA that don't get to be home for the holidays. #GACA100

Five GACA students from around the state competed in Region 6 DECA Competition. Region 6 is comprised of 23 Gwinnett County HS. Congrats to our winners Carson & Reah who will now move on to compete in our State Career Development Conf. in Jan. against approx. 2,000 students!

Students in Ms. Alexis Smith Thomason’s Media Arts I class made model playgrounds, designed rooms & created Lego self-portraits for their portfolios this year. They had to use an online digital design program to create these 3D images, followed by meaningful discussions #GACA100

HS students in Ms. Alexis Thomason’s Digital Photography I class, have worked diligently on Portfolios all semester long to practice settings, varied subject matter, practice light, & learn history! Students have progressed immensely in their photos! #GACA100

Some of our LS students & family started the important conversation early & told Drugs to Take a Hike! This was a part of our acknowledgment of Red Ribbon Week. They hiked a total of four miles and are choosing to celebrate life and live drug-free. #GACA100
