I have been spending a lot of time the last week just chugging on @MassEditsLLC it is amazing how much progress you can make in anything if you really just focus. Get the idea. Lay out the plan. Execute it. Debug problems. Execute more. Repeat haha

People often just post to post. Posting should drive a purpose. Do you want some leads or a following? What stat can you track that will let you make sure your content is achieving your goals? I have been helping people this last month and the biggest barrier I’ve seen for everything is lack of direction.

Volume is ultimately the king of success. How much of a skill can you do? How many people can you sell to? How many products can you make? Basically everything is solved if you have enough volume. The easiest way to get better at anything is just do more.

So recently started a video editing business! Going decent so far put together a nice little website and now just working for the first clients I have. It is so interesting how much potential you can see in things when you reallllllly focus down on something and decide it has to work. I refuse to focus on anything else until this business is doing 1M+ a year. Probably I wouldn't then anyway for a while but I like this game.

When you go to make content. You just really need to know who you are speaking to. Speak to them. Do it consistently. The algorithm will find them.

Life has been on such an interesting curve. Massive shifts in the direction I am going due to many factors. I am enjoying it a lot! Truthfully I think most things in life are enjoyable if you are willing to play the game.

Ok cool I got to read through this and see what you guys were asking. So major point before my answer is this. How much you focus on something definitely affects how far in it you can go. Progress on a specific physical quality is not linear it’s a curve. So how hard it is for anybody to go from say 40-45” vert its wayyyyyyy harder to go from 45-50”. So even if someone naturally jumps 48 perfect training might take them to say a 51 or 52”. I think when it comes to those 2 players mentioned vs say Ty. Ty is more specified toward jumping for sure and doesn’t deal with the type of training it takes to be a the NBA. I definitely think that both Spud and Mugsy could have a few inches higher easily if only focusing on jumping. I think that in terms of the training technology and such there isn’t too much we have on the actual technology side of say weights and equipment. The technology advancements would be shoes, courts, and the actual how we structure training to achieve peak verticals. (I’m not convinced we have actually hit genetic limits yet and we are still figuring out the specific way to train for maximum jumping) So I definitly think those guys are in the realm of athleticism as Ty and if they had specialized more they could have hit a higher number. Nobody could say for sure but I think it’s likely they jump as high as he does now. I also don’t know Ty well so he probably has more in the tank unless he has trained PERFECTLY.

🪦 RIP 🪦 Basketbarth... Many people probably don't even remember I had an account before this one and ALL my epic dunks were on the previous account originally. A whole lot of dunk history lost over night but that is ok we will just have to run it back to prove it was not a one hit wonder.

For the next year I am making Athlete Made Easy totally FREE. I have moved into other things as my main business but my true love will always be dunking and fitness. I have plans for AME in the future but for now I wanna just help everyone I can with what they need. So I am announcing full programs, courses, and resources will be totally free. You can see what is launching and when on the AME website but you can go sign up right now to be notified when it drops. For my dunkers and none dunkers out there you can expect... Full programs on strength, endurance, power, speed, vertical jump, joint pain, and many other topics. Full courses going over the basics of training and even in depth courses on specific topics and how they apply. Education on how to write you own programs and become your own coach with template resources you can use to track and make progress. Right now I am just announcing this service moving forward but expect multiple new drops a month! You will also get access to the Athlete Made Easy community where we can chat about training every day and we will do group calls and get together planning. Look forward to making gains with you all soon!

Today is the day of a three pronged journey. My personal journey back to the top of the dunking world. My journey as a coach and how I am changing my business Athlete Made Easy to be more of a betterment project for everyone. My journey as a business owner as I expand Mass Edits and use the stuff I have learned about social media with myself and others. Time for some MASSIVE ACTION.

So I am starting a big series where I am gonna get back to having a 47+ inch vertical from where I was at 22 during chemo. Currently sitting at about 41" took 1.5 years after chemo to get back but now I am all in on training as my top priority again. For you guys I wanna give you any info you need to make progress yourself so whether that is training or mindset or whatever I wanna share it all. Lets do this.

I gained 6 inches on my vertical in 6 months—and I was already past the age most people think you “peak.” By 24, I could dunk decently, but the simple changes I made then took me to a world-class 47-inch vertical from something more in the low 30s. Here’s how I did it… 🧵

It is somewhat unfortunate that people are starting to trust AI more than their own mind. Feel like this is a slippery slope. We are heading for the greatest era of innovation ever or to the end of innovation.
