He tried to be more attacking this season and it's costing us. Can he get it back to how we played last year with the new team? I'm not sure. I'm so split in my mind, but I think I'm leaning to the fact he has to go, he's not changing anything and it's getting worse!

Usyk turned it on when he needed the ref helped for sure but who’s to say usyk wasn’t gone get him out of there he had plenty time.. Bad night in the office don’t look like he was in tip top shape to me!

I've heard an interesting theory👀 Liverpool’s long-term plan has always been to appoint Luis Enrique in summer 2027, with Slot seen now as a transitional manager. That’s why he wasn’t given a new contract, and Enrique hasn't signed new contract at PSG because LFC interest and talks behind the scenes. The problem is the situation with Slot has become nearly too toxic to sustain. That’s why they didn’t go for Alonso and aren’t interested in Iraola for just one season. The plan now seems to be to stick with Slot, then use an interim if it goes wrong (Gerrard) — bridging until Enrique arrives next summer. This makes far more sense than the idea that Hughes and Edwards genuinely believe Slot will turn it around long-term. What do ye think???

Slot on defending set-pieces: It's not so easy to find one answer as they come from different things - corners, free-kicks, throw-ins. In general we are not the tallest and strongest team set-piece wise, other teams usually have more than just the two centre-backs good at heading. We're now even more aware of that now than last season. We take those things into account when we are looking at evolving the team
