@dvehendo He practices putting for the 60-70 putts he makes over 4 days. You can't practice for the last putt on the last day on the 18th green. That's all mental.

So there’s no point in Rory practicing his putting on a putting green as it doesn’t replicate putting in front of thousands in a major competition 🤷‍♂️🥴⚽️

It's absolutely staggering that we are still listening to people telling us that you can't practice and prepare for a penalty shootout. The level of commentary and discussion in football is so low.

@5thOfSanogo @offtheball A rugby conversion or a golf putt is not the same as a penalty. A penalty is a battle of wits between the taker and the goalkeeper.

Some of the negative reactions to last night are very disappointing. We beat Portugal, Hungary and drew with the Czechs. It's probably an unprecedented run in our history. The lack of awareness among some fans of the raised expectation is the biggest problem we have.
