Just my opinion that he’s into the last year of his contract and we will be happy to get a good fee and once a MLS team puts quadruple his wage on the table he will be away.

• He says a deal to sign West Brom forward Eseosa Sule is “pretty much in final stages”.
• Stevie Mallan & Dylan Reid both still training with Buddies but their positions are not signing priorities.

@StMirrenChat As I say the formation was quite fluid in the 3 anyway, if they’re coached well it’ll be fine.
My idea would be Fraser right back and tuck in letting John get on to their last line and we’d have a back 3 defending anyway. Means he doesn’t have as much responsibility to build.

@ConorMacFan10 My main concern is both those players aren’t natural centre backs and are used to playing in a back 5 where they have cover, saying that Paul McGinn was playing centre back for Motherwell and done fine.
I’d trust Gogic a lot more playing out than I would Fraser

@StMirrenChat I’d think Phillips will want to move on and we aren’t in the business of getting in players ways.
Gogic and Fraser should be fine, our last 2 LCBs would push forward and join the attack a lot of the time anyway. Will require good coaching to get them to build out though.

Mochrie for me is probably best centrally as a 10, although looks to be quite effective on the wings too which is helpful

@rtchaps84 Absolutely love the type of players we are signing.
Just have the slight fear a very young squad and manager will require a bit of patience which most of our online fanbase doesn’t have.
