2025 v 2026 League Scoring In order to justify my fear of how much Kerry have improved since 2025 I felt compelled to do this one. A county by county comparison into goals for and against, 2Ps for and against, totals for and against, and changes to +/-. This is across the football leagues in 2025 and 2026. Starting with everyone's favourite for another clean sweep in 2026: Kerry. Fewer goals (keep in mind the fired 5 past Derry in 2025), but more 2 pointers. Crucially, TPF is pretty much flat, but conceding 11% less overall in 2026, +/- in 2026 is 33, up from 19 in 2025. However, Meath is the only team in which every single metric is better in 2026 than in 2025. 11% more goals for, -17% goals conceded, +5% 2P for, -22% 2P conceded, +7% Total Scored, -10% Total Conceded and their +/- is up 28 Year over Year. Armagh, scoring fewer goals and 2Ps in 2026, but Total For is still up +17%. A pivot of some of those 1Ps into 2Ps, they will be a real threat this summer. An anomaly is Wexford, red in all but one metric (2P For), but still managed to get promoted. Looking closer to home, Donegal, would be green in all metrics were it not for a bad dose of finalitus in Rounds 6 and 7. --- With thanks to @StatsAndSolos for the amazing database from which 2P Data was pulled.

Yesterday, white supremacist Jake Lang organized a protest outside Gracie Mansion rooted in bigotry and racism. Such hate has no place in New York City. It is an affront to our city’s values and the unity that defines who we are. What followed was even more disturbing. Violence at a protest is never acceptable. The attempt to use an explosive device and hurt others is not only criminal, it is reprehensible and the antithesis of who we are. I want to thank the brave men and women of the NYPD who acted quickly to keep New Yorkers safe. Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day. My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner.

Praying for this kid.
