Katie O'Brien is a @Galway_Rowing legend making waves on the world stage with her recent Para gold at the World Rowing Championships 🥇. @AnneRabbitte, Cllr Martina Kinane and I had an opportunity to discuss her plans for future international success earlier today.

As a Coach you sometimes wonder if you would ever have the opportunity to coach a world class athlete(s) and do something special. Today was that day.

Brilliant year coaching the Galway Rowing Club J16 girls squad. Finishing it all off by winning the J16 girls 8 National title.

Great week at Rowing World Cup 2 Poznan Poland 🇵🇱 working with the Irish Para Rowing Team. Picking up a gold medal and a worlds best time in the Women's Para 2 1x.
