The Hidden Colors of Communication Our perceptions define our reality. In other words, when we directly perceive something, it becomes real to us. Many autistic savants I’ve met say they see the telepathic communication superimposed upon their surrounding physical space. We now know the human body actually emits light — ultraweak “biophotons” — and that these emissions can carry information. These colors exist outside the normal human gamut — yet people can see them when their visual system is precisely targeted. Vision science is proving that what we “see”is not fixed — it can extend far beyond consensual reality. Perhaps the next revolution in human communication won’t come from faster devices, but from unlocking our own ability to “read” the living light all around us.
