The Mona Lisa is drowning.
Not because of water — but because of what we call “art.”
Venice still floats.
Art doesn’t.
Between pavilions, sponsors, and champagne openings,
we lost something: risk, the street, the truth.
So I left her here.
Half submerged. Still smiling.
As the Biennale opens its doors.
ART IS DEAD.
Or maybe it just escaped.
