@ConstanceEorzea You wanted to mod older games? Or even current RPGs that are more mod-friendly like Baldurs Gate 3? Go onto Nexus, download and drop a few things into a side folder, and BOOM, you’re basically good to go with no extra drama or entitlement.

The sims and ffxiv were the first 2 games I modded, so I was honestly baffled when I figured out that in every other community that shit's a hobby and people don't try to make a living out of it...

@ghostofalily I see where you're coming from and I do like to support a select few. But I think it's come way too far. Modding was never meant to be a full time job, especially when it's against the games' TOS and people paywall crap for a month when the game's been out for less than a week

@echoeslament Agreed with your friend! If everybody stays alive, you're doing just fine 😌 When you're comfy with your healing you can start to focus on dps more but I wouldn't worry about it as a sprout honestly

@ConstanceEorzea INWISJW my main job is to make sure everybody’s healed, especially tanks, that much I do know 😭 a friend of mine has been giving me tips here and there on what to do as a healer, plus been given tips by others during runs so it’s appreciated :’3 that is true, I do agree!!!

I know people are usually chill with sprouts playing dungeons and stuff for the first time, but idk why I feel bad for not getting half of the mechanics 😭 like guys I’m not stupid I just didn’t research the fight beforehand and doing this completely blind…

@echoeslament I get you!! It's not as stressful, especially when you heal. Always do what makes you feel better there's no harm in it anyways 🤭

@ConstanceEorzea Yeah I try not to think too hard about it because I’m still new and learning, so I have a long ways to go with fights and stuff!! Tbh I sometimes look up fights beforehand just so I can know what to expect, but it’s the overthinker in me 😭💦 IWNISJW THANK YOU,,

@keroppixiv Right😭"it takes me out of the world" idk man I find it really easy to ignore the players in limsa with modern looking gear that are also most likely afk anyways. If it makes people happy and it doesn't hurt anyone, what's the big deal :(

@themiraland dw scales are never easy to deal with 😭 Doesn't help that a lot of modders don't want to give help at all with their mods so you gotta try and figure it out yourself. Looks so good tho!!
