La réforme proposait d'introduire le tirage au sort pour désigner les membres du Conseil supérieur, au lieu qu'ils soient élus par les juges leur meme.

@TowaYowaIowa Après le référendum était mal branlé. Des juges nommés par des politiques, elle s'attendait à quoi sérieusement ? Un meilleure référendum aurait été de proposer au peuple qu'il vote lui-même pour élire ses juges, comme aux USA. 🤷

Et oui : la démocratie c'est de la grosse merde. Il ne faut sous aucun pretexte demander leur avis aux gens. Imaginons qu'on arrive à lancer un grand referendum pour la remigration, que fera-t-on si par malheur le "non" fait 50,1% ?

❌🗳️🇮🇹 Résultats du référendum constitutionnel sur la réforme judiciaire : les Italiens refusent à 54% le projet de Meloni de séparation des carrières des juges et des procureurs. Le Non se retrouve à la fois dans les régions de gauche mais aussi dans le Sud, où le M5S est puissant. Oui, la vie politique est ultra-stable depuis 2022 mais ce n'était pas bon signe pour la droite italienne. Forte participation de 58%.

Arguably, National Socialism IS what works. Every advanced western economy is pursuing “national socialism” of some kind, defined as the cooperation between government, industry, and labor. Mussolini and Hitler ironically won! Obviously, the aesthetics have been defenestrated, as with some of the more notable social policies.

@posta_octavian You are mixing apples with oranges. The Justice referendum in Italy has nothing to do with ECHR which I doubt a vast magiority of Europeans know what is it. At most, this proves that certain reforms cannot be achieved through democratic tools.

The referendum failing in Italy is a big blow to anyone who's trying to reform the ECHR. If you can't even convince people of such a small time change to the justice system, you won't ever convince Europeans to change the ECHR. The asylum system is likely locked in forever.
