This week, we had some very special guests from the Spirit Mountain Community Fund, who presented our Executive Director, Pat Daniels, with the Helping Hand (Ye Ian Lima) Award in recognition of her outstanding career and contributions.

As we wrap up 2024, we celebrate the incredible journeys of our four cohorts this year. Each trainee left their mark, gaining valuable skills and stepping into the construction industry with knowledge and excitement for their future careers.

Thank you @MAMortensonCo for hosting Constructing Hope for a tour of the Hillsboro Hops Stadium. This experience offered the students a glimpse into their future careers and the possibilities ahead.

Constructing Hope is really living up to their name—providing pathways to good-paying and union construction jobs. Inspiring to hear from their staff about their Green Workforce Program and the critical skills and pre-apprenticeship trainings they’re making available.

Yesterday our summer cohort had the opportunity to visit this years NW Natural street of dreams. The students got a look into what a career in residential construction might be like. Thank you for having us home builders foundation & Street of dreams pdx!

Last week, our students and @namc_oregon team members had the opportunity to explore the innovative use of mass timber in construction. Thank you to Shortstack and @woodworksusa for offering insights, allowing us to tour the development site, and making this experience possible.
