@MaryRuwart The road to my work is 45mph. Theres a cop looking for speeders at the top of the hill if people weren't worried about him they would go 60mph. His presence saves lives.
“Making $100k doesn’t get you anywhere now.”
That’s the part people aren’t ready to admit.
If $100k feels broke, what do you think $50k feels like?
This is a slow-motion eviction.
What the fuck.
A US Admiral just briefed Trump on preparations for a new wave of strikes to deliver the “final blow” to Iran.
Final blow sounds like they’re planning to use nukes. This should concern everyone. The people of Iran are not our enemy. Our own corrupt government is.
I am simply out of breakfast ideas for the girls. Oatmeal, bacon, toast, French toast, eggs, pancakes, waffles, sausage, hash browns…all done this week. Please somebody help
Americans… this is a good faith question. I’m not baiting or trolling. Why are you so scared of condos and walkable cities? Does not having to drive for your groceries freak you out? What about it makes you uncomfortable? Please be honest.
@DrSuneelDhand Yep, it was able to diagnose the pain in my chest. That's not my heart. It was my esophagus and my cardiologist confirmed it. But a I said, not to worry, then I was not having a heart attack
I have talked to at least two people in the last couple of weeks, no medical background whatsoever, telling me how they are routinely having medical conversations with AI— really happy with the results, and telling me they think it’s way better than talking to their doctor.
I really don’t think the medical professional understands what a complete gamechanger we are witnessing.
A lot of arrogant physicians out there have no idea what’s coming!
@DrSuneelDhand You aren't visiting and talking to a doctor anymore.
you are dealing with two corporations. one is your insurance company and the other is the doctor's employer.
Here's the math:
A single person earning $70,000/yr takes home ~$4,500/mo after tax.
A realistic budget:
-$1,200/mo: Rent
-$400/mo: Food
- $330/mo: Transportation
- $280/mo Utilities/phone
- $500/mo: Fun
...Living within their means lets them invest ~$1,600/mo.
@middle_class_us My husband and I are looking to upgrade our house. looked at a 2500 sq ft split level built in 1972 on .25acres is 680,000. With 20% down its over 4000 a month. My dad raised me by himself in a house exactly the same bought on a paper mill factory wage. It is not the same.
Older generations say “we all struggled.”
Yes.
But not like this.
You didn’t graduate into debt + no job security.
You didn’t compete with global labor + AI.
You didn’t pay modern rent on entry-level pay.
This isn’t the same struggle.
It’s a different game entirely.
Owning a home is a money pit.
If someone tells you otherwise, they’re lying to you.
I’ve lost track of how much I’ve invested in my yard, AC system, air filters, plumbing repairs, water filtration, bidet filters, mold repair, painting, fence replacement, etc.
Be warned!
@TheAliceSmith I had a 5th grade teacher who gave us mountains of homework. I remember having panic attacks over it. Would spend all weekend trying to get everything done. 6th 7th and 8th grade were a breeze for me after enduring that tho so maybe she was onto something.
Unpopular opinion: Homework is an intrusion of the state education system into private family life. It is both a signal of dominance but also of failure on the part of the teacher. There is sufficient time during school hours for all learning activities.
Trump’s 2nd term is objectively a colossal disappointment and a catastrophic failure.
Remember all of the optimism exactly a year ago? This is why I didn’t vote.
When billionaires from Wall St, Silicon Valley, and the Israel Lobby were lining up to donate, that’s how you knew…
@ibleed_ep@NickJFuentes@MattWalshBlog There is presidential midterms dum dum. And he has said it over and over and over that he did not vote for Trump. I think you have him confused with someone else.
@ConsvHe37035157@NickJFuentes@MattWalshBlog No in fact did vote for Trump in 2024, but said he wouldn’t vote for Trump in the Midterms. He was still team Trump during the last election. It’s only until he was conned that he realized he got played.
Some of us expressed great concern about the Iran War when it was first launched. We were shouted down and condemned as “panicans” and “blackpillers” and even Islamist sympathizers. But it’s pretty clear from how things have gone that our concerns were absolutely reasonable and legitimate. Maybe Trump will get us out of this thing soon and it still won’t spiral into a long and drawn out war. But even if that happens — and I’m not convinced it will — no thoughtful person can deny at this point that the spiral and long war scenario is very much a possibility. No reasonable person, at this stage, can say that our concerns were irrational. What looks irrational now — and always did — is the demand for blind allegiance and unthinking “trust” in our elected leaders, as though we are called to have faith in politicians like we have faith in God.
@catturd2 My concern for Tiger is his well-being. Particularly his mental/spiritual health. He seems to be searching for something that doesn't exist in a bottle.
Perhaps is Tiger picked up the Bible and not a bottle he could find internal peace we all seek and need.
@ibleed_ep@NickJFuentes@MattWalshBlog WTF?Nick didnt vote for Trump, he actually told people not too because he predicted this war would happen. Have you ever listened to his show once? You dont know what your talking about.
Come on you two. You both know why we are in Iran. At this point it’s disingenuous to not recognize that we are in Iran because of the files.
Our President is compromised, YOU BOTH VOTED FOR THIS. You guys claim to be men of faith. You guys voted for a guy that has LIED his entire life. Why were you able to be duped by a con man who has literally lied his entire life. Why would you believe him now? He didn’t drain the swamp the last time, he didn’t lock her up, he didn’t get Mexico to pay for the wall, he didn’t have a healthcare plan, he didn’t repeal, and replace Obamacare. He’s never cared about the debt, he added more debt in 4 years than any other President. I could keep going.
At least Nick understands he was lied to, Matt will still vote for a party over his country because he doesn’t want 0.01% of the population to have any rights, even though Jesus says to love your neighbor.
So just know elections have consequences, and you voted for this. Do better!
If there’s something I’ve learned during many years as a hospital doctor.
When you hear a man say: “I didn’t want to come in but my wife made me”.
You are dealing with a VERY SERIOUS medical condition until proven otherwise.
It costs $1,500 to $2,500 a month just to have a child in America right now.
Daycare alone runs $2,000 a month in most cities.
Before food. Before clothes. Before anything else.
Then they wonder why birth rates are collapsing.
Nobody is avoiding kids because they don't want them.
They can't afford them.
