The production, in numbers:
7,500+ generated images
400+ generated videos
100+ generated songs
70 hours of art, animation, and music generation
25 hours of editing
The final cut includes 70 shots.
A huge number of attempts to find the right take, and countless creative decisions to reach the final result.
This is what our timeline looked like after 95 hours of work.

Voices generated directly inside video tools usually come with several issues. The first one is that they tend to feel lifeless. More like voice-over than actual acting.
The second is that the timbre often changes from one shot to another.
And the third is the accent. From one shot to the next, the voice can suddenly jump from Spanish from Spain to Argentinian or Mexican Spanish.
We collaborated with Juan Rabadán, a professional voice actor and dubbing artist we had already worked with on our short film Dale caña.
Juan dubbed the text over the already animated characters, interpreting each one with different nuances, rhythms, and intentions.
The timbre was modified afterwards using ElevenLabs, with voices created from scratch through its Voice Design tool.

Issue 2: Concept, Idea & Creativity
Our first idea was to create a mystery / neo-western series. Something like The X-Files meets Fargo, set in a remote town somewhere in the United States.
We were exploring what the supernatural element could be, circling around the idea of a kind of surreal cosmic horror. And then Guille suggested bringing it closer to home: to Spain, to a place reminiscent of Las Hurdes.
