one has to wonder, are OpenAI and Anthropic employees restricted from using competitors' products for work?

@kunchenguid Not to mention Grok's tokens are much cheaper than Claude/Codex. It does make more mistakes, but makes it up for it in very quick turnaround times. I've found that I'm able to do turns without breaking flow more easily with Grok because of speed.

@natolambert They likely already got it 2 years ago. Their revenue growth says so

@brandon_galang i do have anthropic as well as openai sub already, so i care less about other models i'm specifically looking for which sub offers the most grok 4.5 tokens "unlimited" is very difficult to achieve at my current usage level :) there must be a cap and i want to know what that is

@kunchenguid Cursor ultra gives you auto + API usage in the ~$1500-$2000 per month range. Grok build's weekly limit is $2000 worth.

Still haven’t found a real use case where Grok 4.5 fails at something I ask vs GPT-5.6 Sol, Fable 5, or Kimi K3. All of them are excellent — but Grok 4.5 wins on price and speed by far.

@Da7_Tech Which app(s) do you use? Grok + Kimi + Cursor + Codex can (and should) work all together

China has historically subsidised products they classify as strategic to dominate market share. Open-source models are no different. We can’t wait for affordable super-intelligence.

@bridgemindai You were probably testing it around the World Cup final. It's only getting slower.

SpaceX's new order from Foxconn for GB300s is for $53 billion. Their payback period for their data center has been roughly 13 months. If the same holds, they'll end Q1 2027 at a $100 billion annualised revenue rate.
