MPC will be trustworthy ONLY when these conditions are met (1) The MPC network is run by a DAO (no central authority) (2) Everything is open source, on github (3) The node runners identities can be known and stored in the messaging contracts, linked to the nodes. (4) Anyone can choose whichever nodes they want to form an MPC group (selecting good ones using the identity info, hopefully) (5) dApps can switch between MPC groups, not being tied to one group (6) Finally, all contract upgrades, MPC upgrades are performed bu on-chain and cross-on chain governance by the DAO. This is what ContinuumDAO are doing and we include signatures to NEAR, Solana and Soroban
