Warrington looking good early this season. Hull KR great the last few years. Catalans the last team to make a grand final or win the LLS besides Wigan and KR. The lesson? It’s clear to see you now need some quality Wigan academy products to compete.

@CamDonDuncan I 100% agree that standards aren’t there for other clubs, but the reality is atm the league isn’t any where near wealthy enough to create all these world class facilities to compete with the likes of Wigan, and over decades it’s created a monopoly over other teams

@ControversialRL Clubs need to make those young players a better offer then don’t they? Players will keep going to the clubs with the best facilities with the best coaches with a track record of developing young players for first team rugby. Not every Wigan based player comes to Wigan.

@CamDonDuncan I agree, but it’s quite hard for a club to produce players when the best players from their local area are getting soaked up by the likes of Wigan, Saints and Leeds , it’s literally the point I’m trying to make 🤷🏻‍♂️

@ControversialRL The way to create a competitive league in that regard is for every club to develop young players. It doesn’t matter where they come from.

@JoCatColes @M_Shaw1 If you’re referring to the table, that’s hardly breaking it down, it’s very vague and if you go deeper into how the score is given, it makes no sense, the teams that have scored zero have completed things on there and still received zero points!

@M_Shaw1 I find it baffling how they haven’t broken down how each team was scored ! Just gave each club a score and put it into a table! If you’re gonna score a team 0 then break it down as to why that team got a zero and vice versa for the high scoring teams!
