I don’t think you’ll get better than 6% anytime soon. You’ll live a life stress free once your mortgage is paid off. Go that route. There are others who don’t mind the stress and they would just keep investing. No wrong answer. Most important thing here is, are you going to raise your own chickens? Unlimited supply of organic eggs!

I have an $803,000 mortgage at 6.125%. I am considered a “high-risk borrower” because I am self-employed. If I consolidate all my cash and part with some shares that I’m willing to ditch, I could probably come up with about $400K. A mathematician would tell me to invest that money instead. I can probably outperform 6.125% interest by staying invested in the market. But will I ever feel free when I’ve got this debt hanging over my head? Will I ever be able to take prudent risks in the market knowing that if my trade fails, I’d have been much better off paying down my debt? This is a tough choice for me because it’s not the vintage 2% mortgage you should carry, nor the 20% interest credit card debt you must pay off asap. At 6.125% interest, would you sell shares to pay it off?

I’m starting to hate the phrase “AI stock.” At this point everything is an AI stock. Show me the companies where AI is actually breaking something: too much heat not enough power not enough memory not enough storage supply can’t keep up That’s where the real trades are.

BREAKING: Trump purchased up to $630,000 worth of Palantir, $PLTR, during the first three months of the year. In March alone, Trump made at least seven purchases of Palantir totalling as much as $530,000. A month later, Trump literally wrote on TruthSocial: “Palantir Technologies (PLTR) has proven to have great war fighting capabilities and equipment."

Hot take: A lot of people calling stocks “overvalued” are really just mad they missed the move. If the company is tied to a real bottleneck — memory, storage, power, cooling, energy — it can stay expensive longer than bears think. $SNDK was probably “overvalued” before it kept ripping. Sometimes the market is not wrong. Sometimes it is re-pricing a story faster than people can accept it.

The Wednesday and Friday dips were a good reminder: You don’t need to chase every green candle. Sometimes the better setup is waiting for the market to shake people out, then looking at longer-dated options on the names tied to real AI bottlenecks. Memory. Storage. Power. Cooling. That’s where I’m still looking. $MU $NVTS $MRAM $VRT $WDC $STX $PSTG Short-term dips are noise. But if the AI infrastructure thesis is right, LEAPS on the right names could give you time for the bigger move to play out. Risky. Options can go to zero. But I’d rather buy time on a real theme than chase weekly calls after a huge move.
