@LAMatthews I find his revisionism baffling. At one point he was top 3 keeper itw, if not best. Yes, his confidence dropped and his later years with us he wasn’t as steady, and had a fair few clangers. But he was an amazing servent of the club and an unbelievable keeper for most of a decade

You know what’s funny about watching a De Gea saves comp? If you replace De Gea with ANY OTHER keeper, the commentator says “you can’t fault the goalkeeper there, no-one stops those” as the ball flies into the net. That’s how good a shot stopper he

So I've been giving next years squad some thought over the last few weeks, and here's what I've come up with, have a look and please let me know what you think in the comments GK's Sell Onana, sell Bayandir, bring back Vitek when his loan is finished to challenge Lammens for the Number 1 spot Fullbacks Shaw and Dorgu on the left is fine, we can tackle that the following year Sell Dalot or yeet him to the moon, bring in Munoz with Maz as rotation CB's I think Harry might end up leaving for a final big contract, so a 4 of Licha, De Ligt, Heaven and Yoro is fine, maybe bring in one more for cover but couldn't add 5 CB's to the line up builder Midfield Casemiro is definitely leaving, Ugarte will most likely follow. We do need serious investment here and I think we'll get it with 3 new bodies coming in. Baleba, Anderson and a cheap third option, I'd go for Berge. Bruno is obvious and I think Mount stays for rotation Wingers We aren't making any changes here save for promoting Lacey for cover across either wing Strikers We aren't spending money here either, Zirkzee will likely move on paving the way for Chido to be the option from the bench, or use Mbeumo/Cunha in a similar way to how we've used them this season In's Munoz Anderson Baleba Berge Out's Onana Bayindir Dalot Maguire Malacia Casemiro Ugarte Hojlund Zirkzee Sancho Rashford

He would be my No 1 choice. 🔺Entertaining football. Get the most out of his players. Outmaneuvered both prime Klopp and Pep in the PL. We got a squad that suits him really well. 🔺Can the World Cup managers even be obtained? It is tabu as a national team manager to agree to something before leaving the nat team. You get real conflict of interest issues. This means that we would be bringing in a manager just weeks before the season starts. 🔺RDZ can join mid May, sign long before that (if we can agree with OM).

@EverydayMUFC22 I agree. The club didn’t protect him enough. Yes, he made a lot of boneheaded decisions, but let’s not act like other legends didn’t. If he was under Fergie, he would be our top scorer. It’s sad, but he genuinely looks happy at Barca, so I am happy for him

I still cant believe how we’ve handled Marcus Rashford. That’s a one club man; should be our top goalscorer of all time. Of course he should have done better himself but the club made mistakes with how they’ve handled/treated him

@UtdOptimist No. Same issue with Amorim, no ideas when having more of the ball, we need proactive managers as United will always have more of the ball especially at home
