As my baptism was conditional this morning I'm headed right into my first confession as long as my priest has time after Mass. If you don't mind please pray for me to make a good confession. I'm 27 so there's a lot of things I've likely forgotten.

Father is still very busy and very tired from all of holy week, no confession after Mass today but I did schedule a day in the coming weeks!

@ApeDukat I've asked my priest about this quite a bit in the past months since it's an odd situation for sure. I trust he knows far better than I do.

@ApeDukat That's what makes it a conditional baptism. As far as I know I was baptized as a child though I don't know where or how. In a conditional baptism the priest adds "if you are not already baptized I baptize you..." First confession is done afterwards to ensure all is right.

I kinda want to try going to a Catholic Church but my mother was raised catholic and is now Protestant and I fear she will be very uncomfortable if I want to go to a Catholic Church
