UH management is working in a vacuum. No one answers the UH main campus phone or the UH athletics main phone. The UH website posts email adddresses. Sending an email to any of them is like applying for a job on Indeed - nothing nada zero responce.

Professor Simon Bott passed away this week leaving a hole in our hearts... He left UH to take a position in UK but his heart remained here with Cougars. He always wrote to me after games and after every academic milestone UH has achieved. Simon—you will be deeply missed.

If you read this and don’t think this is due to poor fan support then you’re not connecting the dots.
Our athletics’ weakest link currently is the fan support which affects all areas.

It took me 1.25 hours last night to get to Fertitta Center
I know of numerous other folks who turned around because I-45 was a standstill
UH has attendance issues but they get a pass last night since mid workweek rush hour traffic was worse than usual

Number one team in the country and the fan base in using playing Oakland as the excuse why they can’t put 7k in their gym to fill it. Yikes. Great basketball team. Kinda weak fan base. Purdue “managed” to double+ your attendance against meek little OU. And it was LOUD.
