🧨 HISTORY IS REPEATING ITSELF — AND THE FOOTAGE PROVES IT A deeply disturbing video is now circulating: a young Western girl — a Palestinian sympathiser — being manhandled, mocked, and visibly distraught in Gaza. It is tragic. But it is also a brutal reminder of something the West refuses to learn: Extremist movements ALWAYS use their far-left allies as useful idiots… until they no longer need them. Just ask Iran. In the 1970s, thousands of idealistic left-wing students helped the Islamists topple the Shah. They marched together. They protested together. They believed they were fighting for “justice,” “anti-imperialism,” and “the oppressed.” And when the revolution succeeded? The Islamists turned on them. Hard. The new regime—much like Hamas and other extremist factions—saw the left as naive children with loud voices but no real power. They were rounded up. Imprisoned. Executed. Massacred by the very movement they helped install. The pattern is as old as history: • Radical groups recruit privileged Western leftists • Use them for propaganda • Exploit their guilt and ideological zeal • And once they become inconvenient—or embarrassing— they discard them without hesitation What we’re seeing today is no different. Young Western activists think they are “allies.” But the groups they defend do not share their values, their freedoms, or their worldview. And the moment things turn dark, those same activists will discover they were never comrades — only tools. The footage from Gaza is heartbreaking. But it is also a warning: History does not just rhyme — it screams. Westeners who romanticise extremist movements will meet the same fate the Iranian left did. And unless this generation wakes up, they will learn the hard way what millions learned before them: You can’t make peace with those who see you as expendable.

"Yesterday my Oasis fandom came full circle. I took my 9 year old daughter Jill to her first gig (along with my fantastic friend Ming!), and we made a sign for the show, as well as a gift bag full of Canadian snacks and goodies (hats, chocolate, ketchup chips, Jos Louis, of course 😉). We waited for hours at the budweiserstage in the heat, and made so many new friends with other fans! About 15-20 people, all there for Noel. He soundchecked quite late but after our car broke down that morning over an hour away, and we hustled downtown, we made it and he came out to sign for us after soundcheck! Jill gave Noel a card, some chocolate roses she picked out for him and got her WTSMG record signed (already signed by Liam a few years back). Noel was in a bit of a rush but he signed for every fan there and kindly took a pic with Jill before he left. Later that night he spoke to Jill in the front row - he called her “Little Jill” (my heart just about exploded!!) and told her since her first gig was this one, it was all downhill from here 😂 He spoke to her many times that night and even dedicated Live Forever to her! Me and Jill were both in tears of happiness! 😭 All I could think of was my first Oasis gig at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in 1998, and how I myself cried during The Masterplan. As I said, full circle. Jill sang her heart out the whole show and Noel made her feel so special. I can never thank him enough, also Mike Rowe for jumping up to personally hand her his setlist, and Jess for bringing her a pick. A massive thank you to all the Noel fans who stopped us many times on the way out shouting and pointing “hey! It’s Jill!” And taking her picture with her setlist. The kindness of Oasis fans blows my mind, and I am so grateful for the people who make these shows such a pleasure to be a part of.
