Everyone one got to take home a piece of what they’ve made. After all they’ve put in so much effort to create the most delicious pineapple upside down cake. One child saying to another, “ I can’t believe the top is at the bottom!” @busheyheathjm @CookingBhps

The famous Pineapple upside down cake! The children got busy with their roles of mixing, decorating, breaking the eggs and folding in the flour. It was great to see so many happy faces. @busheyheathjm @CookingBhps

Once again bringing our DT room to life! Monday’s cooking Club made chocolate chip cookies. Every child was given a particular task to help make our cookies yummy and so working as a team was a job well done. So Proud of them! @busheyheathjm @CookingBhps

In Cooking Club we made chocolate chip cookies! The children practised creaming butter and sugar together and cracking eggs safely. We also talked about how heat changes the dough in the oven. @busheyheathjm @CookingBhps

Delicious homemade Scones were on the menu last week. The children learnt about levelling off flour correctly, understanding why cold butter is important for texture and rubbing it into flour to create a breadcrumb texture. @busheyheathjm @CookingBhps

Pancake making with a focus on accuracy! The children learned how to level the measuring cup to get the correct amount, helping them understand precision, early maths concepts, and following instructions.@busheyheathjm @CookingBhps
