About last night… 😮‍💨  After a fantastic day at the @TCSandD Cold Chain Hub, CoolKit collected the Refrigerated Panel Van of the Year for the 5th time!  To reclaim the title in our 20th year is extra special. Congratulations to all of the evening’s winners!

CoolKit’s conversion for @Lola’s Cupcakes was the jewel in @forduk’s diamond anniversary celebrations 💎   Ford is celebrating 60 years since the first Transit van was produced and there is no party without cake!   Lola’s brought the cupcakes and kept them fresh with a pbx unit!

The aim was clear: identify inefficiencies, remove barriers and implement solutions quickly and collaboratively. The team addressed longstanding challenges around waste, flow and visibility, generating a series of practical improvements.

‘Kaizen’ - steady, purposeful improvement through small, meaningful changes - aligns with the way we work. Led by Hannah Murphy, our Continuous, and supported by Joe Gleave, the session brought together a cross-functional team from across operations, technical and manufacturing.

CoolKit has built a business on continuous improvement and last week saw our first ‘Kaizen Blitz’ take place within our Lining department. Inspired by the Japanese ‘Kaizen’ philosophy, our Kaizen Blitz was a two-day improvement sprint designed to drive operational change.
